Studio Link Fashion and fillies once again had free reign at the J&B Met – but with all the flaring hooves, the flicking heels and the general horsing around – it was hard to tell which was the main event.
Opening Montage It was almost a day of long furs and furlongs before the sunlight burst through the storm clouds to lighten up the spectacle of high stakes & vibrant stukkies. From classic couture to outrageously odd, the order of the day was the usual no holds barred.
Commentary “The J&B Met ... day like today”
Fahionable hats? The outfits were a blur of lines, lace and even leaves – always accompanied with a hip & happening hat. A dangerous accessory as Juanita discovered when she pulled a muscle trying to prevent her wide brimmed bonnet from being swept away by wind last year
  … I can’t imagine which muscle she injured?
Commentary “This year it’s not ... believe it or not”
Colour is in! Wolf Whistle may have been a hot favourite on the track, but off the track it was the anthem that paid tribute to the glamorous girls and their gorgeous gowns – as our lady in red discovered…
